| Outbound transfer | Also known as an ACH or EFT credit, Outbound transfers allow merchants to send funds directly to a customer’s bank account. |
| Partner | A SaaS platform leveraging for its payment capabilities. |
| Payment Intent | A Payment Intent represents the entire lifecycle of a payment, from initiation to completion or cancellation. |
| Payout | Funds deposited or withdrawn from a merchant’s bank account. |
| Platform fee | The platform fee can be specified when Creating a Payment Intent and is deducted from the total amount and deposited to the partner, not the merchant. |
| Pricing template | Used for onboarding new merchants and updating pricing for existing merchants, the pricing template stores key pricing info related to a payment method. |
| SaaS account | A partner’s merchant account that is typically used to bill their customers for SaaS fees. |
