On-Device Tipping

On-device tipping allows customers to select a tip percentage directly on the payment terminal during the checkout process. The currently available tip options are 10%, 15%, 20%, 25%, with an additional option for customers to input a custom amount.

Tip settings are configured at the terminal reader level and are disabled by default. You can enable and configure these settings either through the Dashboard or using the Update a Terminal ReaderAPI endpoint.
