Requests fall into three categories: Common Detail Requests, Common Materials Requests, and Intensive Materials Requests.
For Common Detail Requests the necessary materials are a detailed clarification on the business model (products/services offered, transaction flow, and pricing on products offered,) explanations of verbiage/offerings on the Merchant’s website, and documentation of Merchant ownership of products/inventory.
For a Common Materials Request the necessary materials are a driver’s license, bank letter or voided check (can be submitted interchangeably,) EIN letter: Employer Identification Number verification provided by the IRS, Articles of Incorporation: State issued business registration with the Secretary of State, 501c3 (non-prod only): IRS registration for tax exempt entities, and a Reinstatement Letter of Incorporation- if business was previously dissolved.
For an Intensive Materials Request the necessary materials are six months of processing statements and the previous year(s) tax returns.
